I knew the title of the post would draw you in. Well, sorry ladies, no kinky stuff here just good ole bookshelf reorganization. And you won't find 50 Shades on our bookshelf... Everyone knows you put that one on your iPad. :)

Problem: A writer + a reader move in to a 1950's house together = Too many books, not enough storage.

Solution: Pinterest-inspired bookshelf arranged by color. I initially wanted to do all white books because a.) it was different and b.) the contrast would look cool, but my man quickly brought me back to earth. He's so practical!

I settled with a black to white fade anchored by dachshund bookends... duh! I think it turned out great and really ended up being more than storage... a great room separator.
