healthy home.

The countdown has begun - 66 days, 13 hours, and 10 minutes until summer and the dreaded swimsuit season. After calculating my current BMI (and having a quick cry under my desk), I decided to participate in my company's "Biggest Loser" competition. The prize? Weight loss AND roughly $375. It's a win, win!

Well, when thinking about my new 'life change' I realized I may actually need to workout, which just means lugging my hideously ugly and bulky stationary bike out of the upstairs closet. This got me thinking...

Why isn't at-home gym equipment/accessories ever aesthetically pleasing? Or is it just mine that look like a Nordic Track straight out of the 90s?

So here's what I've decided. If and when I win this competition I will put the money towards some chic and space-friendly at-home workout accessories. And if you think that it doesn't exist, it does. Here's proof!

I'm absolutely obsessed with this balance ball cover, although it is extremely overpriced in my opinion. It definitely looks like something I could make myself. Maybe my next DIY project?
