Hailing from Texas, it isn't unusual to see a dead deer (or other animal) on the wall for that matter. I can't say I've ever been big on the idea, so I sure was glad to see that one of the hottest trends in home decor right now is the wooden deer head. I've always thought they were really cool looking, but wasn't really willing to invest hundreds of dollars for one. Luckily, Midwest-CBK's sample sale pulled through for me again and I got mine for $9!!! I can't make this stuff up, people.

Here's mine above my bed. I think it'd also be great above a mantel or even propped up in an office (where mine temporarily lived).
